On Saturday July 10 the Q-dance Feestfabriek | 10 Years of Q-dance will take place, to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. Below you can find all the last info you need to know.

DRESS CODE
Q-dance celebrates it’s 10-year anniversary and the Dutch soccer team will play the finals at the World Cup. To celebrate this to the max, we ask you to wear ORANGE clothes to the Q-dance Feestfabriek. Check the clothing of the artists for inspiration.

TICKETS
VIP tickets are sold out, but regular tickets are still available through this URL: http://10yq.tickets.q-dance.nl/
At July 10 it’s also possible to buy a ticket at the door. Door sale starts at 8PM.
We advice not to buy a ticket at the black market, because all tickets will be scanned.

ENTRANCE
Your ticket states the entrance, which you should use to enter the Amsterdam ArenA. If your ticket states entrance A, you have to enter via entrance A. If it states B, you have to enter via B and so on.
Make sure you pick the right one, otherwise you will not get in and you will have to wait in line again at the correct entrance.

ERISTOFF ‘DARE TO ENTER THE LAND OF THE WOLF’
Would you like to attend Q-dance @ Planetlove Festival on September 10, together with a friend, in Belfast (Ireland)?

LOCKERS
In the Amsterdam ArenA lockers are available in limited numbers. You can put up to three (possibly four) jackets in one locker. After you entered the venue you can therefore leave your jackets, bags and valuables in one of the available lockers.
- A locker costs 6 euro rent and 5 euro deposit.
- You will receive a key which states the number of your locker.
- Throughout the night you can go to your locker and take things out and put things in.
- When you leave the party, please take your belongings from your locker and return the key. You will then receive the 5 euro deposit back.
- To make sure you get all your belongings back and you do not have to go into the cold without your jacket, please remember your locker number and at which entrance your locker is situated.

PAYMENT SYSTEM
Paying with ArenA Card
All food and drink on offer is priced in Euros, but a special stadium has a special payment system: the ArenA Card. This is a chipcard that you can use to pay for all food and drinks, etc.

Where to buy the Card
ArenA Cards worth EUR 10,- EUR 20,- or EUR 50,- are available. You can buy your ArenA Card with cash or with debit/credit card. There are twenty blue vending machines in the stadium where you can use your debit or credit card to buy ArenA Cards. Above these vending machines are signs stating “ArenA Cards” alongside a blue PIN logo.

FOOD & DRINKS
In the Amsterdam ArenA you’ll be able to indulge yourself in various types of food and drinks. There are fifty sales outlets throughout the stadium, but in spite of this large number of outlets you may have to wait at times. Please be patient, as the sales outlets sometimes have to serve an overwhelming number of visitors in a short time.

PHOTO AND VIDEO
To make sure you capture all special moments at De Q-dance Feestfabriek, you may bring your photo camera (non professional and professional) and video camera (non professional).

DE Q-DANCE FEESTFABRIEK MERCHANDISE
There is one Q-dance merchandise stand in the Amsterdam ArenA. The stand is located in the main area. They will sell a high quality collection of Q-dance merchandise varying from key cords and t-shirts to jackets and sweaters.

We will record a DVD of de Q-dance Feestfabriek. In this –limited edition- pack you’ll find the DVD with the registration of the event, but some extra items also.

SMOKING AREAS
There will be designated smoking areas in the Amsterdam ArenA. These can be found at the ArenA deck and for VIP ticket holders the smoking area is located at the main building on level 3. For directions to these permitted smoking areas, please follow the signage in the ArenA.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

TRAIN
NS Duivendrecht (North) and NS Bijlmer ArenA (South) are within walking distance of the stadium. Both stations have good connections to all major national railway stations in the Netherlands.

BUS
Accessible by local bus routes 29, 158, 174, 177 and 178. See Routeplanner for times. On both nights, between 01:00 and 06:00, there are 3 busses that travel between the Amsterdam ArenA and Amsterdam Central Station.

If you organize a bus by yourself, please park the bus at P BUS. Parking fee is EUR 35,- and you don’t have to register your bus in advance.

SUBWAY
The Strandvliet ArenA (North) and Bijlmer ArenA (South) are NOT accessible during this weekend, because of construction activities.

ZUIDTANGENT
The Zuidtangent runs from Haarlem station via Hoofddorp and Schiphol to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA. From Bijlmer ArenA station you can walk easily to the stadium.

Use the websites from the NS, GVB and 9292OV to figure out the best travel schedule from your home to the Amsterdam ArenA.

Q-dance advises everyone to come to De Q-dance Feestfabriek by public transport. If you do decide to come by car you can find directions below:

From direction of Den Haag/Haarlem
At Badhoevedorp intersection take the A4/E19 towards Amsterdam, at de Nieuwe Meer intersection take the A10 towards A10 Ringweg Zuid, at the Amstel intersection take the A10/E35 towards Amersfoort (i.e. drive straight on and don’t take the earlier slip roads marked “P ArenA), then take the Amstel Business Park slip road (for S111). Turn left three times and take the S111. This brings you to the ArenA.

From direction of Zaandam/Den Haag:
At Coenplein take the A10/E35 towards Amersfoort/Volendam. Go straight ahead at the Watergraafsmeer intersection towards A10/E35 Utrecht/Den Haag. Then take the turning for Duivendrecht S112. Turn to the right and take the Gooiseweg. Take the second turning for D and E district. Turn right and take the Daalwijkdreef; follow the bend to the left and take the Dolingadreef. Turn right and take the Burgemeester Stramanweg.

From direction of Amersfoort:
On the A1 towards take turning at Diemen intersection for A9 towards Amsterdam Zuidoost/Schiphol/Haarlem. Then take S112 junction towards Bijlmermeer. Turn left and take the Karspeldreef. Turn right at the Hondsrugweg. Hint: Follow the P ArenAPoort for the ArenA.

DISABILITY PARKING (BLUE BADGE)
There are parking spaces reserved for people with mobility problems in P-1/Transferium. Follow the signs from the road or motorway. Please do not try to park in this area unless you hold a European Disabled Parking Permit, also known as a Blue Badge; all cars are checked for this during events. From P-1/Transferium it is easy to reach the north side (Entrance B) or south side (Entrance H) of the stadium, where there are lifts to the stands. The maximum height for vehicles entering P-1 is 2.25 metres. The following charges apply for parking in the disabled parking area: On event days: € 20.00 for the entire event/evening. There is a reduced rate for ticket holders during football matches.

TAXIS
Taxis can be found at the North side of the Amsterdam ArenA. You can contact the Taxi Centrale Amsterdam (TCA) by phone: +31 20 777 7777 (local tariff) or 0900-6777777 (priority phone number, 55ct/p.m., only to be called from a Dutch phone). We advise you not to reserve a taxi, but just wait in line after the event at the Taxi stand.

PEOPLE IN A WHEELCHAIR
The Amsterdam ArenA has special facilities for wheelchair users. You need a special admission ticket to use one of the special wheelchair spaces. Depending on the type of event, wheelchair spaces are located above the lower stand level or on a special platform in the arena.
Access to the stadium is via the South H entrances where there are lifts. Your admission ticket shows which entrance you should use to enter the stadium. Any visitor with a disability, not just wheelchair users, can use these lifts.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, AND EACH OTHER!
A whole night of partying requires more energy than you might be aware of. Make sure you come to the event well prepared. Drink and sleep enough.

On Saturday the 10th of July Q-dance will celebrate its 10 year anniversary in a spectular way in the Amsterdam ArenA. Over the last few years over 300 parties have left the Q-dance party factory, therefore the name that we attached to our jubilee party is ‘De Q-dance Feestfabriek – The Q-dance Party Factory’.

All different musical phases from the last 10 years will pass by in the Amsterdam ArenA, from oldstyle to the popular hardstyle sound of nowadays. Not to mention the ‘respected and classic’ Qlubtempo sounds and a banging hardcore mix to close off the night.

One of the absolute highlights of the celebrations will be the presentation of the Hardstyle Top 25, chosen by you and mixed by Professor Elkabas (the Prophet). The Top 25 is probably more recent than expected, but definitely a not-to-miss moment of the night, and even in your track didn’t make it to the final selection you can still enjoy the spectacular show.

It will be our first event in the Amsterdam ArenA which we see of course as a very exciting challenge. Together with the artists we have prepared for a long time and this Saturday it is finally time for the party. De Q-dance Feestfabriek will not only be a celebration of the last 10 years, but also a new start for the years to come…

New album and world tour by the world’s No.1 DJ

2010 will see another milestone in the already illustrious career of Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren when he releases his new artist album, ‘Mirage’, in September. As with previous releases, the album paves the way for a new Armin Only world tour. After successful outings in 2008 of Armin Only -‘Imagine’ in countries like Holland, the United States, Australia, Belgium, Poland and Romania, expectations run high. Will ‘Mirage’ eclipse ‘Imagine’?

Armin Only 2008 – ‘Imagine’

It’s been a while since ‘Imagine’ conquered both hearts and minds of Armin’s true fans all over the world. On a large stage in the middle of the crowd Armin played a nine-hour DJ set, accompanied by guest singers and artist friends such as Chris Jones, Jennifer Rene, Cathy Burton and Rank 1. The gigs in every city the ‘Imagine’ tour visited were fantastically successful. The events sold out way in advance and excited visitors experienced a joyful night on the dancefloor.

Memorable moments include when thousands of lit-up cellphones were lifted in the air, and numerous shots were taken with those same mobiles when an angel appeared high above the DJ booth during ‘Burned With Desire’. After the last record, satisfied crowds went home with just one question on their minds: ‘Is it possible to top this night?’

Album – ‘Mirage’

After the last ‘Imagine’ tour, a period of rest was necessary for all the crew involved to recover. However, taking time off was not something Armin had in mind for himself. He spent every single moment his busy DJ schedule would allow in the studio, working on the follow-up to ‘Imagine’. Being the perfectionist he is, Armin took all the time he felt was necessary to add another chapter to his impressive discography.

The result is now here: ‘Mirage’ will be released on Armada Music on the 10th of September. It’s a very diverse album, filled with lots of surprises and thrilling collaborations. To serve as a treat for fans who find it hard to wait that long, the album is preceded by the floor-filler ‘Full Focus’ – released worldwide on the 24th of June. This is a purely instrumental track that’s bound to make people dance at every festival Armin plays this summer. And then, when autumn falls, another journey begins…

Armin Only – ‘Mirage’

Armin, triple winner of the prestigious DJ MAG Top 100 DJs poll, is a true perfectionist. Even though he’s been ranked amongst the world’s top-flight DJs for quite a few years now, this is no reason for him to rest on his laurels. There’s always room for improvement, and this is the attitude he demands from his crew as well. No wonder things at the office of Alda Events have been hectic lately, as the last preparations are made for the world tour of Armin Only – ‘Mirage’.

No real information about the show has been made public yet. However, knowing Armin, it is safe to say that the ‘Mirage’ show will bring an overwhelming amount of audio-visual highlights, state-of-the-art show acts and surprising guest-appearances. More than ever, interaction with the crowd is an essential component of the night. Harmony is the magic word, and a perfectly arranged production is the key to create this, although the main focus will obviously be on Armin himself, mixing all the ingredients into a wonderful treat for the audience. The whole performance will be under the umbrella term ‘Mirage’. It’s a word used in several ways, but for Armin it only means one thing:

Armin: “To me ‘Mirage’ represents the feeling of euphoria I am filled with when I see the happiness of the crowd in front of me during my set. At that point I share my passion for music with everyone around me. When there is that special connection between all of us, it almost seems like a blanket of positive energy covering the crowd. I am fully aware of it and I live for that moment 200%. To me ‘Mirage’ is the perfect expression to capture that untouchable feeling which is so vividly present at the same time.”

Those moments of euphoria are about to happen again all over the world. After the success of ‘Imagine’, the demand for this tour could only increase. Already the ‘Mirage’ tour will be covering five continents and nearly twenty cities, all of which will be announced shortly.

TIMING IS EVERYTHING
Traditionally Defqon.1 the Netherlands takes place halfway June, this year on Saturday the 12th. When the clock hits 11, the doors will open and together with 40.000 friends, we will rock Almere Strand till 11 at night.

Saturday 13 March 2010 Hasselt will be coloured completely white for the sixth Belgian edition of Sensation. After 4 sold-out editions in the Antwerp Sportpaleis, last year Sensation moved with roaring success to the Ethias Arena in Hasselt where the Ocean of White took place, with an 80-metre-long fountain show.

The new world tour kicked off in July 2009 in Amsterdam, and the new Sensation show acquired the name “Wicked Wonderland”. It takes the visitors on an adventurous journey full of mysterious and sensual discoveries.

Sensational experience
Sensation by organizer ID&T has blossomed into a nightlife perception with an international ambience, where performances, music, acrobatics, dancing and fireworks occupy centre stage. Through a strictly observed white dress code, the public becomes part of an impressive setting too. Wicked Wonderland takes the visitors on an adventurous journey full of sensual discoveries.

For this edition the Ethias Arena has once again been utilised to the last millimetre. Just as last year over 18,000 visitors are expected. So prepare yourself for an effervescent show bathed in the best beats, delivered by top international artists.

Name & fame
Just as every year, ID&T caters for an impressive line-up starring numerous international dee-jays who can charm the public with danceable beats and very latest mixes. International flair
Five years ago Belgium was the very first country where Sensation took place beyond the Dutch border. In the meantime Sensation has blossomed into an international phenomenon. The Wicked Wonderland edition now takes place on 4 continents and in more than 17 cities including Madrid, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Prague, Sao Paulo, St Petersburg and Melbourne.

Saturday the 13th March sees Hasselt turning white for the sixth Belgian edition of Sensation. Saturday the 6th of February 2010 the GelreDome in Arnhem will again be transformed into a Hard Bass temple for 9 hours straight. Once again the best of today’s Hardstyle artists will be teamed up in four groups (known as Green, Blue, Yellow & Red) to create a surprising mix with a unique musical identity. The line-up is set and preparations are in full swing. Time for a Hard Bass update!

Anthem
First of all, Zany and The Beholder will compose this year’s Hard Bass anthem. The Hard Bass trailer had already featured an excerpt that prompted enthusiastic responses. b2s interviewed Zany and The Beholder and talked about the anthem, and what we can expect from their upcoming live act.

“Our cooperation was born out of a shared interest in the harder and darker music styles. We got together to produce a couple of albums, and have now created a brand new live act as well. A while ago we were asked to create the Hard Bass anthem. Obviously, that’s a brilliant thing for us to get asked to do. So, you can rest assured that it’s going to be a track that’s totally Hard Bass!

During the act we’ll only be doing tracks that we produced together. MC DV8 and Alee are going to support. It’ll be a real live act to blow the speakers, with a stage dive or two if all goes well. The live act is just guaranteed to be a blast and it’s certainly going to be a very strong performance for Team Blue!”

b2s television
You might have already seen it: b2s has launched a totally new online medium, b2s television! Starting now, there’ll be a weekly Hard Bass update, featuring interviews with the artists and fun facts. During the week before Hard Bass, we will be offering a daily update with previews of the event set-up. Stay tuned!

2009 saw the first edition of Hard Bass in the GelreDome. For the very first time at a dance event, an entire wall was constructed using LEDs. Add an overdose of lasers and an impossible amount of fireworks, and it was no surprise that the visitors were positively gawking. b2s has made every possible effort to ensure that the 2010 edition will be even more spectacular. How exactly will remain a surprise… come and see for yourself on the 6th of February.

Tickets cost € 48 and from the 1st of January tickets can only be ordered at www.b2s.nl. This time only you won’t be charged any reservation fees – b2s is picking up the tab on this one. If you plan to come to Hard Bass by bus, you can reserve a combi-ticket via Event Travel.
